AZTESOL Board Terms
AZTESOL invites dedicated individuals to contribute to its mission by joining the Governing Board. Board members play a crucial role in shaping the organization's future and advocating for multilingual learner educators.
Leadership Terms
President: Serves a two-year term, seamlessly transitioning to Past President for an additional year.
Vice President: Serves a two-year term, after which they automatically succeed to the role of President.
Past President: Holds a one-year term, with an option to extend for another year to support the incoming President.
Three-year Terms: All other Board positions, including Treasurer, Communications Chair, Regional Representatives (Southwest AZ, Northern AZ, Southeastern AZ, Central AZ), and the Scholarships, Grants & Awards Chair, serve for three years.

A compelling statement of interest, detailing your motivation to serve, relevant experience, and vision for AZTESOL's future.
Applications are welcomed year-round. The Nominating Committee meticulously reviews all submissions and conducts interviews with qualified candidates. Final recommendations are then presented to the Board for voting, and successful candidates are formally announced at the upcoming AZTESOL Annual Business Meeting.
